What's on

Put Down the Phone and Protect Your Eyes

People spend a lot of time staring at mobile phones and computers, and watching television, every day. These activities allow light pollution to slowly affect eye health. When the damage accumulates over time, there is a risk of irreversible consequences. However, people don’t pay as much attention to the health of their eyes as they do to their overall health. This means that there are many missed opportunities for eye disease prevention.

Spring is coming, bringing brighter days. In March, Tuen Mun District Health Centre will be introducing common eye diseases to our clients. The sessions will explain the different types, causes and symptoms of eye diseases, as well as things that can be done every day to make sure the eyes are as bright and beautiful as a spring day.
