Special arrangements for Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above/ “Extreme Condition” /Black Rainstorm Warning 

• TMDHC’s services (including the core centre, satellite centres and mobile truck) will be suspended while the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above/ "extreme condition" / Black Rainstorm Warning is in force.                                                                                                                        
• All class activities will be cancelled while the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above/Black Rainstorm Warning is in force. When TMDHC services resume, our staff will contact participants who have booked individual service appointments (including health risk assessment, fitness assessment, allied health services and consultations) to rearrange them.   
• The Centre’s services will resume as soon as practicable, in most cases within 3 hours after the warning signal No. 8 (without “extreme condition”) or “extreme condition” is cancelled.  If the signal/warning is cancelled within 3 hours of the usual closing time of the Centre, all centres will remain closed.
• Members who are unable to attend their appointment because of the warning/signal or adverse road conditions can contact the Centre via email (tmdhc@elchk.org.hk) or call 2332 2218 after TMDHC resumes service.
